The Den Quests: 1. Fred owes Becky 200$, collect the money for her Reward: 200 XP + 100$ Becky, the owner has two jobs to offer, the first one of them is to get the money she loaned Fred back. He is at Flick's shop. (s. Screenshot). If your speech skill is 75% or better you'll be able to persuade him to pay up the full amount, otherwise you'll have to cover half of it. It is rumoured, that, if you cover help him with 100$ and loan him yet another 50$ Fred will repay you with 2000$ later. (after a few weeks) 2. Get book from Derek Reward: 50$ + ???XP Becky's second job is to retrieve her book "The Lavender Flower". Derek on the east side last had it but he is no help finding it. Since it is placed in a random location I have little advice for you. (try toilets or corners behind buildings) 3. Find out what is in the church for Lara Reward: 200$ + 1000XP (all in all) Lara has several jobs to offer. All of them deal with Metzger's store of chems in the church. First she wants you to go there and inspect the contents of the crates inside. With speech skill of about 75% you should be able to fast talk your way inside. 4. Get permission for gang war from Metzger Reward: 200 XP, 250$ The second job is very simple: Just go to Metzger and ask his permission to wage war against the other gang. 5. Find a weakness in the rival gang Reward: 200 XP Talk to the guard in front of the church and he'll tell you about their party tonight. 6. Help Lara attack the other gang Reward: 400$ Although this Quest is finished after the guard outside the church is killed it is a good idea to slay the enemies inside as well. (weapons, ammo) Try to make a special point of not allowing Lara to get herself killed. (no Lara, no payment). In the fight try to aim for the opponents head and knock them out, then move on to the next enemy. 7. Deliver Smitty's meal Reward: 150 XP, free meal at Mom's, and a Stimpack from Smitty Mom's on the eastside of town offers an opportunity to replenish Hit Points after the church brawl. Talk to Mom, the owner and offer to bring Smitty's lunch to him. Don't delay this because once the meal gets cold Smitty won't want it anymore. 8. Get car part for Smitty Reward: THE Chrysalis Motors Highwayman While delivering Smitty's meal you'll note the fine car just outside his house. Ask him about it and he'll tell you that it's for sale. After you return with the right part (which is to be found in Gecko) you can buy it. (and have the Klammath-part built in) 9. Free Vic, the trader Reward: Vic While dealing with the gang war you can ask Metzger if he'll let you see Vic. He'll say it's ok and after you ask the door guard to let you in. Vic will tell you his story and ask you to help him. The radio from his house and 1000 bucks will grant him freedom and you a new companion to aid in your endeavours. 10. Return Anna's locket Reward: ???XP + Karma Anna, the ghost appears in the early hours of morning (24-1 o'clock) in the house next to the BoS outpost. She'll mourn the loss of her locket which has been stolen by Joey the Thug. Talk offensively to Joey and he'll attack you after the skirmish you'll be able to reclaim Anna's locket and return it to her. The collect her bones and bury her on the graveyard. Miscellaneous: - G&B in Lara's house - Smitty sometimes sells Micro Fusion cells or Super Toolkits - Check out the names on the graveyard - If you manage to kill Metzger (maybe on a later visit) and free the slaves, Becky will reward you with 1000 $ - If you are playing a female character named "Buffy" and are wearing leather (armour, jacket may work too?) Becky will reward you with lots of free stuff (10mm SMG, Metal Armour... - Flick sells issues of the "Cat's Paw" from time to time (New Reno quest) - Be sure to ask Karl (at Mom's) about his story - And, while your at it, let Stacy tell you about her Cat Cuddles (also at Mom's) - The Mummy displayed in the Den actually is a ghoul named Woody (see Gecko quests) Walkthrough Shibby Games
